Senior Member dakota3 Posted November 23, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted November 23, 2008 Does losing hair at the nape of the neck tell you anything about the future of your hairloss. What I mean is that if Im missing the hair on the nape of my neck does that mean that Im more likely to be a NW6 or 7?
Bill - Seemiller
dakota, Not necessarily, but possibly. It's almost impossible to determine where your hair loss is heading by evaluating one area of hair loss. You have to look at it as a whole. Is your hair thinning in the hairline, vertex, and crown? What about hair on the sides and back below the crown? Any signs of thinning? What is your family history of hair loss? Is there anyone in your family you appear to be following? Is there anyone else in your family (older) who has lost nape hair? All of these things might help give you a better indication of where you are heading, but not a guarantee. Best wishes, Bill
