Senior Member SV_08 Posted February 17, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2013 I know this is been covered a few times... But Id like to know how many months after surgery is it ok to hit the gym HARD? I'm not talking about a casual weight lifter/gym go'er. I'm more in the mind frame of serious lifting/prepping for a contest or show type thing. Working out 5 days/week. Intense lifts, etc... I'm thinking about 3 months out, but Id like to hear from more people on this. Thanks! HT2 - March, 2013. 2933 grafts. HT1 - June, 2006. 800 grafts. Senior Member nativeremdies Posted February 17, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2013 I am assuming your doing strip It depends on who is doing your scar and your laxity of your scalp, and how long you leave those staples, sutures in. I would ask yourself this question after 2 weeks after your operation, when you have a good natural inundation on yourscar
