Senior Member mgem Posted April 12, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 12, 2009 Don't do it!! hair systems are not even a last resort My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller
Regular Member Root4me Posted April 27, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted April 27, 2009 mgem, had a bad experience ? There are a few professionals out here that are more concerned with the products they supply than just fleecing people who can be at there lowest in terms of esteem. Hair systems can be very good if done by a caring person.

Regular Member TheHairGuy Posted October 13, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted October 13, 2009 Well, I can't speak for any one else, but I went with Optima Hair Specialists in Birmingham and they've been pretty cool. Didn't get any sales pitches and the usual stuff, unlike every salon I went to before that. Systems are top spec, too.

Regular Member TheHairGuy Posted February 26, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted February 26, 2010 Mark, I'm not entirely sure actually! I know how much mine costs but it's a special requirement. Best plan is to email and ask! :-) Don't worry, they won't spam you or hassle or anything. info@optimahair.co.uk
miximustosus
Originally posted by mgem:Don't do it!! hair systems are not even a last resort My pal had that done. Cost him loadsa dosh. Looked like he had been shot in the head with No5 birdshot. As the bruising went away so did his hair. The scarring on his scalp looked like smallpox. At least with a replacement there is no risk of failure or disfigurement. The highest risk i guess would be a hurricane. MarkSand
I went to Total Cover Plus. I find it great as it feels as if it was my hair own hair. I can't feel having a hair replacement and I can live my live just as if I had normal hair. I had a toupee before but now it is so much better. It is Total Cover Plus Oh and by the way it was so much more uncomplicated. I came in for a fre cnsultation and then decided spontaneously to go for it and 2 hours later I had a full head of hair. But when I read what people experience at some of the places like white cliffs, farrell, empower, ahs, etc. I really think we as customers should be carefull. Regular Member wideparting Posted August 2, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted August 2, 2011 MarkSand,i hate to break it to you but you have just bought a toupee! Well, maybe not you? but your customers have! Please look at the definition of toupee! Now i can agree with you about something in your post and that is stay away from the salon hair replacement places that you mentioned. High end cost for a product that can be bought for much, much less and often with better quality results. Have a look around the web to see for yourselves! And i would like to echo your words of wisdom, 'I really think we as customers should be carefull'
