thinning at crown or just paranoid?

so Ive been paranoid about this for a while but when i hold a mirror up and take pictures of my crown it looks like its thinning, my parents say im being ridiculous but i keep worrying about it. I've been told that it looks that way because of the light on my hair which is fine and light brown. Also i have a natural swirl with my crown.

two years ago im became quite paranoid about it all, and it took a trip to the doctors for him to tell me i wasn't thinning. I'm 18 years old and my hairline isn't receding at all. My dad is basically bold and said he started when he was in his 30's.

feel abit silly posting but if someone could help but my mind at ease?

I think your hair looks great. I would keep an eye on it and take pictures every year and compare them to see if anything is changing.

That's just from the "whirl" in the crown. You are fine.

You are just fine. Keep an eye on that spot but don't worry about anything for at least another five years. Any decent doctor wouldn't consider you for a HT until your balding pattern had matured.
