best camouflage for scars on cropped hair

I'm new to this forum but a veteran of many HTs lots of them from the bad old days.

 

I've had a lot of repairs done over the years and now cut all my hair no 2 all over. even though the top looks balding, it looks natural and doesn't really bother me.

 

The thing that really bothers me is the donor area. At the back its covered in strip scars and old punch scars.

 

I'm thinking of going to HIS in the UK at some point or even finding a good surgeon and seeing if my remaining hair at the back can be redistributed more evenly over all the scar area, although it would be thin at least it would maybe look more natural.

 

In the meantime is there any good way of disguising the scars.

 

I've tried the mane spray but because my hair is grey salt/pepper, the mane is way too dark.

 

Any ideas anyone?
