Advice/ thoughts on a hairtranplant (FUE)

Recommended Posts

I am 24 years ol an feel that my hairline is too high. I am consiering a FUE transplant to lower my hairline slightly.

I have been in fin and minox now for a year an has maintaine my hairloss.

I am looking for some avice/ thought as to if I am at the stage that a hair transplant will assist and if so how many grafts do you feel I woul require.

Any thoughts/ experiences on this matter woul be greatly appreciated.

I have attache pics below so you can assess my current situation.

Since you've been using preventative medication you seem like a good candidate for a small procedure to the hair line. The amount you need depends on how aggressive the doctor will be but at your age you should be somewhat conservative as you may go on to lose more hair. Also something like that should be determined in a consultation by a surgeon. The photos you have aren't the clearest but I would say somewhere in the 1500 graft region

I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own.

Wow. Your hair is almost identical to mine. I'm a bit older (38) but I recently did a 1500 FUE session with Dr. Ron Shapiro and I can already see that my hairline is going to look great in a few months.

Just make sure the medications are stabilizing what you already have and then I think it would be appropriate to even out your hairline. I wouldn't think too much about "lowering" it but rather just evening it out to what it was before it started receding.

Good luck!

You should seek consultations with doctors as the first step forward. I believe you'd be quoted around 2200 or so grafts, but this depends on where you'd want your hairline positioned and how high you'd want to go with the density.

Research ht's and other procedures thoroughly and go for quality, not price or proximity of doctor like I did initially. If you must pay a lot and travel far it is worth it imo. Also, keep in mind, you have a finite donor supply; mine is depleted.
