Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted July 17, 2012 Senior Member Posted July 17, 2012 Overall you are in good shape, the top and crown seem to be of good quality and density. You are experiencing a receded hairline, which could be treated if you were inclined to do something about it. The first thing that patients of your age should consider is preventative medication, and the two best products out there are rogaine foam, and finasteride (propecia). You should use those first for about 1 year and see if your hair loss is stabilizing and then you can go for a touch up of the hairline. Consult with a recommended doctor from this forum and get their opinion. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Dr. Robert True and Dr. Robert Dorin are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
