jack4u Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 hello , guys i jus did my first HT ( FUT ) its been 5 days now . i am little concern about the medicines used after HT to have quality growth .. after how many days can i start using FINAX and Mintop ( minioxidil ) 5% or 10% ( does it matter ) . i have also attached some pictures after the transplant .. would appreciate your comments.. Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted July 3, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2012 The medication will not necessary help the transplanted hairs grow normally, they should grow normally anyway as long as everything was done correctly and you don't cause any damage by getting hit or something similar. You can continue using finasteride right away you didn't need to stop at all. Minoxidil you should wait to apply to the treated area until your scabs have fallen off, which is usually around 10 days. If I see your pictures clearly you can resume using minoxidil in the crown because it wasn't treated. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Also if you could tell me if i could take 2,500 mcg Biotin along with finesteride . is there any complication or side effects of Biotin ( would you recommend it ) thanks in advance.. jack4u Posted July 4, 2012 Author Share Posted July 4, 2012 ohh she is awsome and down to earth person .. i have done some research on her work first through this forum . and then i was in talks with her over phone and emails .. she always replies each and everything... she has some really great work u should check out her page ... i got 2766 grafts in total .. i done have the exact counts of singles and doubles but i remember there are 100 in 3's ... i did not have all the pics and the details yet ..i will post them all once i get them ... the pics i posted are jus frm my phone ...
