Regular Member chickendinna Posted December 27, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted December 27, 2011 I had 3000 done in the front 1/2 of my head(FUT). Looking to fill in the crown. The first HT scar is pretty thin. Can I expect the second scar to be as thin and does the amount of waiting time affect this?
Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted December 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 27, 2011 Most will say wait at least 1 year. As far as the scar goes I dont think it will reach full maturation for 2 years, but you should have a good idea of how it will look after a few months. Newhairplease!! Regular Member chickendinna Posted December 27, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 27, 2011 Will the lack of laxity(if any?) be diminished from already having a scar make the second one worse?
Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted December 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 27, 2011 Laxity should return to close to normal after surgery. Usually. Newhairplease!! Senior Member irishsailor Posted December 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 27, 2011 Alot of it depends on your own physiology and your ability to heal. Most people say you should leave it a full 18 months as that is when you should see the full maturity of your new hair from your first HT Regards Hair Transplant Dr Feller Oct 2011 Hair Transplant Dr Lorenzo June 2014
