  1. Sorry for the forum post...I attempted to email you, but perhaps it got lost. 1. What's your current lead time from making an appointment to actually seeing someone? 2. I know you can perform treatment without the patient shaving their head, but are your results better if they do shave their head? 3. Have you observed any possible damage to transplanted hair under your treatment? 4. Any plans to return to Dr. Feller's office to perform some treatments? Thank you.
  2. Don't know if this is the correct thread to ask some questions. Feel free to move my post. What happens leading up to the two year limit of the pigmentation? Do the dots fade into nothing? Do they begin to blur causing a hazy spread of pigmentation? Can any color changes be expected throughout the life cycle? Do they attempt to match the tone/color of each individual patient's hair/skin? How soon after an FUT procedure would this SMP be considered safe to attempt into a scar? If Feller is impressed, can we expect a satellite office in NY? Thanks.
  3. I never hear anyone talking about after an FUT surgery and the staples come out that there is a definite risk in stretching your scar by sleeping on it. Is this a valid concern? I'm 5 weeks post op and people here say "don't turn you head this or that way", but I definitely feel pressure on my scar and the skin around it when I rest my head on my pillow when I'm on my back and even on my side. Wouldn't it be a bigger concern to worry about hours of pressure on a wound from the weight of your head than head movement during the day? And, yes I've tried travel pillows but that even causes some tugging from your neck. Am I just being paranoid or can the skin pressure from laying your head down cause a problem? Thanks.
  4. I'm two weeks out on my second HT and my donor scar looks great after staple removal(about 1mm thin). 1. When did you first notice any stretching? 2. Were you exercising during this time? 3. What do you think your starting and ending scar widths were? 4. Staples or sutures? 5. Trico closure? Thanks.
  5. Just had my second FUT done and I was told to wait 14 days to remove my staples this time as opposed to 10 days for the first surgery. I'm assuming because the second time around there is less laxity. Well, day 14 is tomorrow and the scar still has some parts where there is scabbing on the incision line. Should I wait to remove the staples until the scabbing is gone? I also figured more time would reduce the chance of stretching too. I've been gently rubbing my incision in the shower while washing and periodically spraying it with witch hazel. I live too far away for my doc to check it out.
  6. Will the lack of laxity(if any?) be diminished from already having a scar make the second one worse?
  7. I had 3000 done in the front 1/2 of my head(FUT). Looking to fill in the crown. The first HT scar is pretty thin. Can I expect the second scar to be as thin and does the amount of waiting time affect this?
  8. I think that article is more related to the donor width. I was referring to the scar width after surgery.
  9. Just wondering what people here think the average and very satisfactory width would be for a tricho closure. 1. Great scar width? 1mm? 2. Average scar width? 3mm? Thanks.
