ThomasGabriel
So the question is pretty simple: am I receding or losing my hair? At seventeen, I am fortunately blessed with a family that has had an amazing set of hair through the decades. My father had wonderful hair. My mother has wonderful hair. As does my brother. I haven't noticed any serious hair loss -- no hair in the shower, on comb or pillow. The only difference is after a shower that, when combed back, one side is a little less even. Is that a sign of recession? My doctor says that it's not and only a sign of a too-brutal hair cut as I cut my hair short every three or four months. I'll let you judge: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=kys1x&s=5 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2z5vfdk&s=5 It's been edited with links. Sorry. Senior Member BadBeat Posted November 14, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted November 14, 2011 You need to provide some better pictures. It's impossible to tell from that one.

Senior Member Stuart01 Posted November 14, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted November 14, 2011 Thomas, It does not appear that you have any hair loss from your picture, but it would be helpful if you had better pictures exposing your hairline. If you wanted to add additional pictures slightly wet your hair and comb it straight back and take some close ups of the hairline and temple areas.
