So the question is pretty simple: am I receding or losing my hair? At seventeen, I am fortunately blessed with a family that has had an amazing set of hair through the decades. My father had wonderful hair. My mother has wonderful hair. As does my brother. I haven't noticed any serious hair loss -- no hair in the shower, on comb or pillow. The only difference is after a shower that, when combed back, one side is a little less even. Is that a sign of recession? My doctor says that it's not and only a sign of a too-brutal hair cut as I cut my hair short every three or four months. I'll let you judge:
