Regular Member Mac1 Posted September 23, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 Are these months considered the "golden months" as far as noticing the greatest cosmetic difference? Is this generally the case? I feel like by month 6 most cases can generally be deemed a success or a failure. Not that the 6 month mark is the final result, but at that point you sort of know if you will be satisfied with the result. Months 3-5 are generally considered the tip of the iceberg? Is this correct?
Senior Member corvettester Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 I'd say 6-8 months, but it's different for everyone... Senior Member hairthere Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 My HTs don't start to look really good until at least 10 months post op. You do start to see coverage in 6-7 months, but the hair quality is just not quite there yet. Think of it like baby hair; it's new, hard to manage, and very fine at first. Then as it matures it thickens and also softens up.
