Regular Member stansen Posted August 18, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted August 18, 2011 Hi, I had a minimal HT session done to correct a natural high hairline on the temples and vertex. It came in great but there is a stubborn spot in the center about a quarter of an inch behind the vertex that is too sparse for my liking. The fact that it’s at the vertex, which is the visible part, is the reason I sweet the small stuff and want a perfect look. It looks as if 20-40 hairs tops would be just fine to fill in this spot smaller than a dime. I would want to do FUE for a "Lunchtime session" as soon as possible because I'm moving. What would the price range be on something like this? Ideally I would like to spend no more than $1500 TOPS... Since it’s such a small area we’re talking about here. Thank you
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted August 19, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 19, 2011 Stansen, I've heard Dr. Feller use the term "lunchtime FUE" for sessions of less than 200 grafts. According to his website, one lunchtime session (< 200 grafts) runs $2,000. Because you could be looking at a lower number of grafts, something closer to $1,500 may be reasonable. I think you may want to research specific hair transplant surgeons, find one performing the type of work you're looking for, and figure out what a "lunchtime" session would cost. Good luck! Senior Member mattj Posted August 19, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 19, 2011 Can I assume that you wouldn't want to travel far for this small session? I think the best advice is simply to find a FUE surgeon in your area (with a good reputation, naturally) and then contact them and see how their pricing structure works for small sessions. That information will not be very well known on the forums so finding answers here could be difficult. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal.
