HTGuy
Any advice about donor area care? My doctor said to just keep it clean. Others recommend keeping the area moist with saline, using aloe, vitamin E, etc. I'm concerned with minimizing the scar. I appreciate any input. Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted July 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 26, 2011 Bio oil and vitamin e will help the scar but it says not to put on open wounds I had problems with my staple holes so could not use it as the instructions are right it does aggravate open wounds but I'd recommend bio oil if your healed well as it contains vit e and lots of other scar reducing ingredients.
