Ashden777
I am a 31 year old male who recently decided to look into getting a hair transplant. I started losing my hair at 21 and slowly developed a fairly bad receding hairline. I never lost any hair on my crown or top region of the head. I live in Orlando, FL and by utilizing this forum I chose to get a consultation by Dr. Charles (Boca Raton). This is almost a four hour drive from my house. I did my consultation with Dr. Charles in early July. I arrived at the clinic 2 hours early and was pleased with the condition of the clinic and the friendly staff. Dr. Charles actually came out and told me that he would see me early which was a relief. The first thing I noticed about Dr. Charles is his passion. He is extremely passionate about his career and that made me feel comfortable. The consultation was very thourough and easy. I felt like I was talking to one of my friends. He was very honest and open about everything and we even talked about our children. I was told that I needed between 1500-1700 grafts and was quoted a price which I thought was fair and about what I expected. I'm not rich by any means and felt guilty for getting this surgery because we are having a new baby and could use the money for other things. With all that being said, my wife gave me her blessing and reminded me that she would need to get her tummy tucked and boobs done one day. My wife was expecting to have a baby between July 12-July 16 and I really wanted to have my surgery performed fairly close after the birth of the baby because I could heal up while off work. Dr. Charles actually worked some magic to get me scheduled on July 18th. He even said he could move this back some if the wife didn't have the baby when expected. I was extremely pleased because I know sometimes these appointments are booked up to a month in advance. Well we had our baby on July 15th and I arrived as scheduled on July 18th for the surgery. The surgery went perfect. There was almost no pain involved whatsoever. Dr. Charles offered a few sedatives and I glady accepted. There were about 6-7 people in room assissting with the procedure. I got to watch a movie of my choice and then fell asleep for about 2-3 hours. The staff ordered me lunch and by the time I knew it the surgery was done. It was cake, easier than a dental procedure for sure. After the procedure I looked in to the mirror and was already shocked at how good the hairline looked. Dr. Charles was awesome and even helped me regarding some diet/nutrient questions I had. My wife picked me up and was also very pleased with the results. Here is the best part: To make my wife happy, Dr. Charles did some laser hair removal (under arms and upper lip) for only $100. This is almost $350 worth of work. That made her day for sure! I will keep everyone posted and even put up some pictures once the hair begins to grow out. At this point I would highly recommend Dr. Charles. He seemed like a very down to earth guy and I'm sure he would take care of me if something didn't turn out right. Thanks Doctor Charles and staff. -Adam
