Regular Member gemmamatt1 Posted July 6, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted July 6, 2011 I am going to a clinic specialising in Hair Harvesting. Has anyone had experience with this type of procedure? Thanks
Senior Member haircut Posted July 6, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 6, 2011 What does that even mean? You would be better served by spending a few months on this forum educating yourself.

You know the old saying " when something sounds to good to be true " I think this is one of those instances! If there were a major breakthrough in hair harvesting I think most people on this site would know about it. Newhairplease!! Regular Member rich91403 Posted July 7, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted July 7, 2011 Gem, Harvesting is a common term used in the industry in reference to the successful excision of follicular units from the donor region. Can you send us a link to this clinic so we can evaluate the service offered? Maybe you are referring to hair replication? This has been achieved in the laboratory but in unsatisfactory numbers to be viable for hair restoration. Give the fellas a little bit more to go on so we can answer your question. Senior Member Dutch Posted July 7, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2011 Sounds like it basically just means a hair transplant, i.e. harvesting hair from the donor area. Do your research. A lot of it. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Regular Member gemmamatt1 Posted July 8, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 8, 2011 I think its more of a good thing! It sounds as though you get a chance to really know where your hair has come from on a personal term with the donor... Have a look and let me know your opinion: Hair Harvest Thanks so much!
