Shampoo Usage

Hello...

I had my HT roughly 4.5 months back. I have been alternating between Panteen Pro V anti dandruff and Head and Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo over an year and a half now. I shampoo my hair daily and I started this routine on an advice from a hair specialist to counter extra dandruff in my scalp. Is this a safe practice? I mean, do these shampoos have any adverse effect on hair on daily usage? Reading about frequent Nizoral usage and its effects made me slightly paranoid about shampoos and hence this question

Thanks for your comments

I already try pantene and H&S and nioxin. Now i use a product from claude bell canada call hair force one. My scalp is no itchy anymore. I discover this product while a friend of mine was having troubles with hair loss and it seem this product is good for the scalp and for dandruff to. It works for me.

Hope it will help you!

A doctor once told me Head & Shoulders is not good for the hair & can cause hairloss. I don't know if that was true or not but I've never touched it just in case. I can't see how it's true though

Yeah it doesn't seem that it could be true. Was the doctor a transplant doctor or a GP?

Did the doctor site any reason? I couldn't find any such claim online. Its strange that he sees H&S not good for hair. A general question, do you shampoo your hair daily? I was just wondering if washing hair just with water (without shampoo) will help the hair anyway..
