Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted April 30, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2011 Does hair loss pattern, in general, slow down or tend to be less aggressive in your 40s and later? Is this why the older you are the better candidate for a hair transplant? Newhairplease!! Regular Member Ken1967 Posted April 30, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted April 30, 2011 Thats what happened to me- the thick ones dissolved in my late 20’s; I had a shiny spot in my late 30’s and it stayed that way until I got the transplant. Some of my buddies had the same thing happen to them.
