Regular Member yeomanesque Posted April 18, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted April 18, 2011 I did a scalp massage this morning and found blood oozing out of several of transplanted hairs that I didn't even touch during the massage. I simply placed my hands on both sides of my head (neither donor or recepient sites) and gently squeezed my scalp... Did I lose those hairs? Please help! Thank! -TJ
Senior Member Jotronic Posted April 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2011 Why would you be squeezing your head after a hair transplant? You should call your clinic and tell them what happened and then follow their instructions. There should be no massaging of your scalp one month after a hair transplant as the donor is still healing as is the recipient. The recipient sites however should be healed enough so that you should not be bleeding from indirect contact but again, call your clinic.
