Regular Member Frdtrtnv8 Posted March 21, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted March 21, 2011 I am 4 1/2 weeks now post op, I have about 5 pimples on my head, most of them are red, one is just a little bump. A few questions about these pimples -Why am i getting them? -Are they harmful? -Isnt early to be getting them? -Should i just let them go away on their own? Senior Member ukpaitent Posted March 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 21, 2011 Its a positive sign!Early growth/activity! Just leave them alone - if they become painful place a hot flannel on the area to soften them up to pop. I too have been getting the odd pimple and i am about 6 weeks post op. I was advised i could squeeze them and then wash my hair to clean the area. The pimples bleed a little after i squeeze them but heal up pretty much straight away. I wasnt aware this was the sign on new growth. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Hasson
Regular Member Frdtrtnv8 Posted March 21, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 21, 2011 Weird thing is, I am just now starting to shed my transplanted hairs. I would say most of the transplanted hairs have stayed intact.
