Regular Member danny_m Posted October 7, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted October 7, 2009 Hi, Just got back from having my 1st HT - 1600 grafts - and now they have been planted, i am extremely nervous the follicules will fall out before they have had the time to fully heal, especially as i am wearing a head band to stop the swelling go to my eyes. i am worried the ban is riding up whilst i am sleeping and will potentially pull the follicules out, is this a possibility? Does anyone have any tips on the nervous first 2 weeks after a HT to ensure you retain as many as possible? Senior Member Sparky Posted October 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2009 I agree with Spex, dont wear the headband in bed and sleep upright, this will also give them a chance to get some air so the scabs can dry. Seems like you wont stay in that position all night but funnily enough you do. Regular Member danny_m Posted October 7, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 7, 2009 Thanks for the help guys, i will defo look at the article spex, my Dr recommended to keep it on at night, so the swelling doesnt move down to the eyes, whats your thoughts? I dont think i'll be so anxious when i know the grafts have settled, i am just very anxious about them coming out at this early stage!
