Senior Member hairthere Posted March 8, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2011 Can any members share their thoughts on using minox post-op? When did you start using it, do you think it helped at all? Thanks! Senior Member Cant decide Posted March 8, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2011 Per my docs instructions, I started using it one month post op. I cant say if it is due to the minoxidil but I am a week shy of 5 months and having very good growth. Senior Member Anouar Posted March 8, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hairthere, I started back two weeks after my ht just to prevent any further loss. I used the Kirkland brand dripping the Rogaine on my head. I switched to Foam because the regular one dried my scalp and flaked it making it look like I had dandruff. I don't know if I had any regrowth.

Senior Member hairthere Posted March 9, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2011 Thanks everyone for your input. @UK: I was thinking of using it because I have heard it can help to jumpstart HT recipient growth. Senior Member aseda1979 Posted March 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2011 Rogaine foam unscented @ Costco is 49.99 I think, for a 4 month supply, not sure where you guys get it from, but seems like a decent price... http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1989
