Regular Member jazzsnazz Posted January 9, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted January 9, 2011 How many grafts to restore temple region? i've also been on finasteride for about 8 months and am almost completely sure it is working in halting further recession. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted January 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 9, 2011 Jazz, I've always found the hair loss learning center graft calculator to be a useful tool when trying to estimate follicular unit graft numbers (and I'd personally suggest staying on the minoxidil as well). Good luck! Senior Member mattj Posted January 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 9, 2011 Hi, The size of the photos together with the angle and close cropping makes it hard to see the full picture, and the way the hair is lying in the second photo could be making the balding area appear smaller than it is. It's possible that a loss of density in the forelock between your temples is not as apparent in the photos as it really is. Do you feel that you have sufficient density in that area? Regular Member jazzsnazz Posted January 9, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 9, 2011 i'll post some more pictures, but it may be misleading in the second picture because i dampened the top of my hair so i could comb it over and it would stay, so you could see the recessed area, i do think the hair in front is dense but like 2-3 inches directly behind the it i can tell i've lost some density.
