I've noticed really long hair sprouting in the front, I've noticed few smaller hair grower where no hair is growing before. Anyone have any thoughts on growing hair in the front and the temples? Started using half of 5mg finasteride daily more than a year ago and nizoral non-perscription (2x a week) year ago. I also grew my hair out, no longer shaving my head with a clipper (zero). Anyone have any thoughts on my hair? Should I ask the doctor for Dutasteride? Is there hope for me?:confused: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Regular Member BaldWhisky Posted March 6, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted March 6, 2012 It definately looks like you have more of a "shadow" effect from hairs in the scalp compared to your pictures from November. But you seriolusly should stop taking 2.5mg. Remember that it's cancer medicine you are taking! Do some research into it and you will see that there is no upside in using more than 1mg a day, it only increases side effects. There is actually limited increased effect in using 1mg over 0.2mg so your dose is straightout unnecessary high! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
