Senior Member Uk_lad Posted December 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 3, 2010 Hi guys, I suffer with a thyroid disorder and also MPB. I was just wondering though, if you have throid problems and they make you lose your hair, would this loss be all over or in the MPB pattern? I say this because my hairloss from 18 to 23/24 was steady, but has totally desimated my hair in the last two years, and I am just looking for answers really. Many Thanks. Senior Member RCWest Posted December 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 3, 2010 Yes it sure can! My Aunt has a thyroid disorder and is barely secreting hormones. She has diffuse thinning over her entire head really bad. Get on Synthroid now! Also make sure you're getting enough Iodine via Iodized Salt or seafood. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
