Regular Member Dr. William Rassman Posted December 1, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 1, 2010 This patient went through three surgeries over the year 2009 and came out with the expectation that he wanted. As you can see, he was trying to build up the forelock of his hair over a graduated period of time over a period of surgeries. We don't normally recommend surgeries like this as it seems to be more surgical procedures than are necessary, but it worked out quite well for him as you can see. This is why it's important to work out a master plan with your surgeon.
Senior Member Robin-at-USHR Posted December 1, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 1, 2010 What a great transformation these procedures made for your patient, Dr. Rassman! His procedures easily took years off of his current appearance. Can I ask how many grafts were done in each individual procedure? and how far apart the procedures were done? Regular Member uselessgomez Posted December 1, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 1, 2010 3 FUE procedures? If not, that's a pretty low number of grafts for 3 strip surgeries.
Senior Member RCWest Posted December 1, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 1, 2010 Very nice for only 1233 grafts! He looks to have plenty of donor hair for even more if funds allow. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? Regular Member C Posted December 2, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 2, 2010 Wow 3 surgeries and only that amount of grafts is a lot of recovery for such a little amount. He probably should have saved and done it all at once. If he did them all in 2009 then his hair couldn't have had ample time to see the full results until the next surgery. You can see the wrinkles on his forhead have dissipated as well unless hes still swollen.
