Regular Member Suzanne J Posted November 30, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 30, 2010 Dr. Pawlinga first treated this 50 year old male patient in January of 2007, placing 1123 grafts (823 FU's and 300 DFU's). His second procedure in February of 2008 included 1277 FU grafts and no DFU's. At each procedure he did "Lucas Procedure" cut-out of some of the large grafts at the hairline. On the day of the photos that are attached here, the patient returned for his final surgery, which was 1084 FU's for further density. Suzanne N.B. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted November 30, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted November 30, 2010 Suzanne, Thank you for sharing this case with our community! The work looks quite refined, and it's clear the patient has undergone a significant transformation. I truly look forward to seeing more cases from Dr. Pawlinga. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted December 2, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 2, 2010 Suzanne, I concur! This would be a beautiful result even if it were not a repair case. The fact that he used to have such a pluggy hairline makes it even more impressive. All the best, David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional.
