Concealers(Dermmatch) after HT

Hi

 

I had an ht on 3rd Nov for 1350 grafts. I wanted to know when is it safe to start using dermmatch. My doc said I could start using minoxidil after 7 days of the HT.

 

I've been trying to search for this online and I've been getting mixed opinions. The Dermmach FAQ says you can start after a couple of days but some posts over here sugest to wait for a couple of weeks to a month or even more.

 

Would be great if you guys could help me out a bit.

I tell my patients that it is safe to resume using concealers after all of the scabs have fallen off. At that point there is not a lot the patient or doctor can do to change the results. However, proper nutrition and good overall health help to reduce the risks of post operative side effects and complications.

I started using dermatch on the scar after 10 days and on the transplanted area after a month. I used toppik and dermatch everyday after the 1st month, and it did not hamper my result.
