Regular Member snydez99 Posted September 25, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted September 25, 2010 What is the average time for healing of the donor & transplant area's? Anyone had longer than normal healing time? Anything that can be done to speed up this process? Thanks
Senior Member hairthere Posted September 25, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 25, 2010 In my experience the redness/pinkness lasted far longer than 2-3 weeks. It was more like 5 months. However, it was more pinkish than red at that point I am the owner/operator of AHEAD INK a Scalp Micropigmentation Company in Fort Lee, New Jersey. www.aheadink.com
Senior Member Surfarosa Posted September 25, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 25, 2010 I concur with Hairthere. Certainly, any area that gets dense packing will be visable for 5-6 months IMO & experience. I can never understand people who have significant work & claim to be back to normal in a couple of weeks. Fortunately, I had hair that could cover the work (hairline in my case). However, if my hair was pulled back you could clearly see the "work zone" !
