Because the hair is planted in a forward direction, the hair rests on the forehead below the marked hairline. This is accentuated by the wave. If the hairline were placed any lower, the overall look would not be as natural.

Dr. Bernstein,

 

I must say that your photo presentations are always first rate as are your results. And this is no exception. My only suggestion would be to post photos at higher resolution. On the old forum, I know physicians had to resize them. However, on our new forum, you can present photos as large as you want and the forum will resize them automatically.

 

Also, if you have any close-ups of the hairline and/or any postoperative photos, you are encouraged to post them as well.

This is just more proof why you were awarded the Platinum Follicle! It's a night and day difference. The patient is lucky in having a 2.9 density AND wavy hair.
