dhanireddi
Hi guys, I have done my Hair transplant 10 days ago and i have tried to pull my scabs very gently using my finger tips.. I dont see any blood of anyhting of that sort but i see a white material that came off along with it and the end of the scab(hair) is curled a little bit. Is it normal or i have lost the graft? Need your comments pls. Danny
Bill - Seemiller
Danny, While I don't think you should have pulled your scabs off, at 10 days, the follicles are secured beneath the scalp and you should be fine. It's normal to see some transplanted hair fall out with the scabs. Best wishes, Bill Seemiller

Bill - Seemiller
Danny, The curled hair doesn't mean anything bad necessarily. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Best wishes, Bill Seemiller
Dr. Glenn Charles
In almost all cases were a graft is lost in the first week following a hair transplant procedure there would be some bleeding directly from the site where the graft was dislodged from. What you are discribing is relatively normal. I am confident that everything will work out fine for you.
