Regular Member User_B Posted May 18, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted May 18, 2010 HI guys, Do you know how much time does it take for transplanted hair on the crown to grow 100%? I have had surgery 10 months ago and results are very nice, but I wonder if I will see more growth... Thanks!
Regular Member Goldilocks Posted May 18, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted May 18, 2010 My understanding is that many people will not see their full result until the 12 month mark, and some even closer to 16 or 18 months. The timeline varies so significantly from person to person that it would be hard to say when anyone in particular would achieve their final result. Glad to hear the results are nice so far though! Hang in there for at least a couple more months and see where you are then. Have you been taking pictures under the same conditions for reference by any chance? Bill - Seemiller
User_B, Transplanted hair can continue to grow and mature even past the one year point. However, most people at one year have seen the vast majority of growth and thickness of each hair. Like PanamaJimmy said, I encourage you to update your patient website so we can see how your results are coming along. Best wishes, Bill seemiller
