Senior Member Sparky Posted April 28, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 28, 2010 I think I already know the answer to this, but i'm a born worrier and having spent a lot on my hair, I want to be 150% sure. I'm 19 days post op, my hairs are shedding as they should be, can I wear a normal baseball cap? its a NY cap and its fairly snug fitting, not tight, but I know when I take the cap off, all of my hair will be bent down as its only 9mm long or so. Its got a curved peak not flat, and theres no way of making it looser fitting at the front, I just want to make sure I wont damage anything whatsoever. I can continue wearing a looser fitting beanie, but people I know think its odd, because its not the norm. Senior Member badger_01 Posted April 30, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2010 I had the same question at the same point in process. Wore a snug fitting baseball cap 8-5 for two months with no issues. Good luck and grow well! - badger 3279 grafts with Dr Gabel - 06/12/08 My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Gabel

Senior Member Sparky Posted May 1, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 1, 2010 Cheers. How about prolonged use, say 4-6 hours? My Hairloss Website http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2198
Bill - Seemiller
Sparky, Honestly, I wore a snugly fitting hat for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and for 4 to 6 hours a day on the weekends after 3 of my 4 hair transplants (between work and going out). I never had a problem with poor growth yield as a result. You'll be fine Bill
