Regular Member jfo Posted December 13, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted December 13, 2007 I was wondering anyone that had just hairline work say 1500 grafts or more was there any problems the way the hair grew in ? For example when I had my hair long, yes the mullet, it was very curly, so will this hair that is transplanted into my hair line is there a chance that it would be curly or is this just a real stupid question? Bill - Seemiller
jfo, It is not a stupid question at all. Because the hair follicles are "donor dominant", there is a good chance that the transplanted hair will grow in similar to how they grew in the donor area. I know that my transplanted hair is a bit wavy just as the hair in my donor area was when I had it a little longer some time ago as well. I'd also like to hear a doctor's input on this.
