What Should i do? Have your insurance charged you guys? Sounds like your doctor submitted his bill he created for removal of your sutures to your insurance, which did not cover that procedure as it was the result of care 1.)Not rendered initially by your MD, and, 2.)Related to an initial cosmetic procedure. It really comes down to your relationship /understanding with your doctor. He is the one who would/wouldn't submit the claim. Perhaps you can speak with him as, when insurance denies your claim, the doctor usually then comes to you for the balance.
