I read a post on this forum last year that arachidonic acid can grow hair but i could not find that posting anymore. Thank you for sharing the information. I am using minoxidil solution for the vortex but i looking for the solution to grow hair on frontal side of my scalp.

I heard that Arachidonic Acid can regrow hair just like monoxidil. I am so excited to use this product. Anybody has information on this drug please share.

Afer my hair transplant, I have been taking finpecia 1mg for over a year but now experiencing Gynecomastia (side effect) so i discontinued 2 weeks ago. Is there any drug i can use or shampoo or herbal to keep my existing hair ? What option do i have?

Yes, one is Gynacomystia. i been using over a year. Recently stopped taking it because my dr. said my left breast is bigger than normal.

People whom i see after 1 or 2 months they first comments on my hairs. i don't ask my friends and relatives about their opinion and they say " man its amazing the way your hairs are growing. you got lots of hair and it looks so natural". i say wait another 5-6 monts to see the real difference. Complents from everyone makes me fell that i took the right decision by choosing dr. rahal for my hair transplant. so far i am very happy with the results. i just got back from india and even barbers in india did not nitce that i got hair transplant. i will upload 4 months post-op pictures soon.

my scar looks good. i haven't had a chance to take a picture of my scar.

i have updated 2 and 3 months post-op pictures. i started using minoxidil solution 1 month after the surgery for two months twice a day. i did not notice faster hair growth so i stopped using it. After 3 moths I have noticed many pimples on the left side where i got more grafts compare to the right side. Piples do resolves in 3 to 4 days which is a good sign. PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME AND LET ME KNOW ABOUT MY HAIR GROWTH PROGRESS.IS IT FASTER,SLOWER OR AVERAGE?

I have a male pattern baldness like my dad. I am Norwood Class 3 and seems like progressing in to class 4. I got first HT couple of months ago on front which looks fine so far. I am very worried about hairs on my back and top of head are also thinning , so by the time my Transplaned hair grows i will look bald again. I think i will never enjoy full head of hair (DO YOU GUYS FEEL THE SAME WAY I DO ?). i am taking finastride 1mg by cipla (bought it from india by my relative so it can not be fake) from last 5 months. i do not know if finasteride is helping or not. I am very concern about hair and what should i do? i do not want to loose hair anymore. Any medication or herbs or vitamins i can add?

After Hair Transplant stiches were removed by my family doctor and i just got a letter from insurance saying you claim is denined because there may be a third party liability (auto accident or other property). What Should i do? Have your insurance charged you guys? I have a PPO plan by United Health Care.

I think more pictures of preop and postop will be really helpful to evaluate the Doctor.

Very informative site. i have never thought that expension of skull (frontal and prietal) can cause hair loss.
