Hi,

just wondering if there is any concensus on when shockloss occurs. Is it hours days or weeks after procedure. I am two days post op and have not noticed any more hair falling out. Does it happen everyone?

I agree with Gorpy. Personally, I noticed it between 2-3 weeks my last HT, but, I've heard of those who experience it later.....say 1-2 months after the HT. I experienced it for both HT's in the recipient area, but only the first HT in the donor area. I suspect the 2nd HT surgeon did a better job extracting the donor strip and on closure.

I have had alot of shock loss in the recipient area. Most of mine was from around 3 to 6 weeks. I think most is over. I am hoping most comes back with the transplanted hair.
