Rogaine Foam vs. liquid rogaine

Curious_George,

I had one Rogaine Foam user tell me about these very same concerns posted somewhere during a phone conversation.

Where are you reading about it being "unproven" or "inconsistent"? Minoxidil is in the foam and the liquid, but the difference is the application and how it is delivered to the scalp.

Most Rogaine users I have talked to who use the foam seem to really like it even better than the liquid. But feel free to post a link to where you are reading this so our members can discuss it.

Best wishes,

Bill

It was me who has claimed that. I have had terrible results from the foam. I believe I am not the only one. Surf on hairlosshelp forums and you'll find many people experiencing same problems I have mentioned. I say incostistent because it has worked for some people and it hasn't work for lot of people even after using it for 6-7 months.

Yes, I was quoting you. icon_smile.gif

Bill: I'd think the same way too - that this is liquid vs foam, the only difference being the delivery method.

kg007,

And you are the one I'm referring to also however, if my memory is correct, you stopped using it around 3 months? You could have very well still been in the shedding phase and stopped prematurely.

I did at one point do a search on hair loss help for the threads you referred me to but couldn't find them. In the interest of discussion and patient information, feel free to post a link to the thread(s) you are referring to.

Best wishes,

Bill
