Bill - Seemiller
Jay X 3, If I am correct a beanie is pretty snug over your head. If this is the case, you should not wear a beanie or any other snug fitting hats, caps, etc until 10 days after surgery. A lose fitting hat or bandana is appropriate. Best wishes, Bill

Senior Member Desperately Seeking Hair Posted November 20, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2008 My girlfriend wears beanies all the time. Looks cute in them. They are restrictive so avoid them after surgery.
Senior Member Smoothy Posted November 22, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted November 22, 2008 You can wear it but I would recommend waiting a couple of days. If have to wear beanie then I would go ahead and have surgeon wrap the rep. area with gauge before you put on the beanie. Put it on front to back first and remove back to front first. My recommendation would be just to wear baseball cap! Lot less risks.
