Senior Member MrJobi Posted June 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2007 Hi Yes, this is what I have heard but it's tough to say if this is the only area.. the only way to find out is to wait the total 14 months to make a final assessment on the result. Doing so before that will just upset you and is inaccurate JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Regular Member Bill_the_bald Posted June 20, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 20, 2007 I am almost 4 month post-op, and a pattern I noticed is that the recipient region with the most recent hairloss seems to experience the earliest growth, while the other areas that have been completely bald for almost 20 years hardly had any sprout. Intuitively I guess it makes sense, that it takes longer for hair to appear in areas with more extensive DHT "damage." Do you guys also experience this, where the area that has been bald the longest also has the slowest growth rate?
Senior Member MrJobi Posted June 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2007 hmmm Good point but these hairs are DHT resistant.. Who knows, i'll just wait the 14 months & not dirve myself crazy. At that point all of the speculation is a mute point JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Senior Member hairbank Posted June 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2007 From what I read, and what I personally experienced, the crown does take longer. I remember feeling a little disappointed about my crown work around months 5-6, then by month 9 I was ecstatic. Just takes a little more time.
