After your HT how long did it take...

Recommended Posts

Bleach,

When you say your "old hair", I assume you mean hair that was shocked due to trauma of the surgery? It definiately can vary, however, expect any temporarily shocked native hair to come back anywhere between 3-6 months...sometimes longer. Transplanted hair will typically also start between 3-5 months. But full maturity should be measured around the year mark, though can continue to thicken up to 18 months.

Only at full maturity defined above, will your hair look the most natural. Many people compain about their transplanted hair being wire-like at first...it will soften and mature with time.

This varies for everyone.

Personally, I felt I could wear a shorter hairstyle that looked decent between 4 1/2 - 5 months. If you have shock loss and it's taking a little longer to come back, it may be more like 6 months or more.

Hi

Total "natural ness" or the final result came at about 14 month or so for me.. I thought my fullness was done at 1 year but I was wrong..

Of course there are signs of natural growth at about 7 months but it is 50% or so based on my 3 surgeries ( well 2 because I'm post op 1.5 months in my 3rd)

Cheers
