Norwood scale pictures from behind

Recommended Posts

22 years,

This norwood scale of hair loss doesn't show it from behind but gives you a pretty good idea from the front and back. From the back, any dip down of hair loss below the crown indicates a potential norwood 6 or even norwood 7 pattern if low enough.

Typically a norwood 6 will lose hair a good 2 inches above the occipital bump or "ridge" whereas a norwood 7 may be only slightly above it, and in extreme cases, right on it.

Best wishes,

Bill
