i'm starting month #4, when should i notice something, if anything at all? i am a lil' thin up top, have all my hair except for a bald spot behind the very front of my hairline.

I went to see Dr. Bernstien in NYC he said that the propecia should take care of it & i wouldn't need a transplant(plus i'm not a really good canidate for one icon_redface.gif ). How long will it take to notice some results? 6-8 months? a full year? longer? anyone in a similar situation?

this stuff ain't cheap, & if it's not gonna work i'm not takin it...besides i look good bald.. icon_biggrin.gif

I think the general consensus is to give it a year. I've heard of guys taking even longer than that, though.

As long as Propecia can slow down your hair loss (if not actually stop it) it's a small victory, in my opinion. If you actually stop losing hair, even better. Because it's important to try not to lose any more ground.

so...maybe an entire year or so before i notice anything? wow. ah well, if it's gonna work i might as well keep it up..If after 12 months or so nothing significant happens, then i guess this just ain't for me..gotta just let nature take it's course! icon_eek.gif
