Hi again everyone,im in a real pickle at the moment on who to choose for my surgery.Everyone seems to be of opinion i will get great results no matter which way i go.Really close to choosing Dr Alexander based on the price and fantastic travel package i have been offered. Is that a mistake to make the decision on that.I just can't seem to make a decision.I just want bset result possible for my hairline and temporal work.Im so on edge about which way to go incase its wrong way. Both seem to be turning out fantastic results frequently.

I don't think it's a mistake. If both are very high quality, world-class surgeons, you've got to have a tie breaker. And, you'll appreciate any comfort you can get for the next week or so.

For me, I finally decided due to a 10% cash pay discount, and the fact that I could drive to Dr. Cooley. That said, my other choices were all very comparable as far as results; Shapiro, Alexander, H&W and Charles. All the others required a plane ride, though.

Rogaine 5% Foam - every now and then

AndroGel - once daily

Lipitor - 5 mg every other day

Weightlifting - 2x per week

Jogging - 3x per week

It would be a mistake to make the decision based soley on "that", for sure; it would also be a mistake to base your decision, from the get-go, in large part upon that.

However, it seems that you have narrowed your choice down to two excellent surgeons, both who have shown exemplary hairline work, and you are now looking for a tiebreaker.

You won't be choosing "wrong", however you choose. I think the price/package is certaintly a legit consideration if you are truly split between the two; but, if you haven't already, I would place their respective prognoses on a pedestal and compare/contrast the two and see which makes the most sense to you.

Alexander in my opinion deserves to be ranked among the top ht docs in the world, so i don't think it's a mistake at all to factor in geography or a great package deal.
