Regular Member Relaxo Posted June 8, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 8, 2008 Hey guys, does using dermmatch cause any hair loss to your native hair or new grafts? I've been using dermmatch just on the weekends about once/week and when I apply it, there are always a few hairs on the applicator. Senior Member hatrick Posted June 8, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 8, 2008 i would highly doubt dermatch causes hair to fall out. most likely they fell out on their own and just so happened to end up on your applicator. Regular Member HairTodayGoneTmrw Posted June 9, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 9, 2008 ive been wondering this as well. Now, i know most of your scalp receives its oxygen from inside your body (blood flow, etc), however does coating the scalp and possibly suffocating it, cause hairs to fall out faster? I generally tend to shower in the morning (or at least i like to) and i apply some toppik after my shower, so its generally on all day. And if i shower in the morning, it'll remain on all night until i shower again in the morning. How damaging is it to have toppik on this long? I've noticed sometimes the toppik can clump together (Even after only a few hours), ultimately sticking to your hairs, and causing them to be pulled out much easier. Anything worth doing is never easy
