Bill - Seemiller
Abby, Nope - once the hair follicle is extracted with follicular unit extraction (FUE), the hair root is gone and will not reproduce another hair. The scars are camoflauged by the existing hair as long as not too many follicular units are taken from the same area. An experienced surgeon will strategically extract from different locations to minimize the moth-eaten effect. Best wishes, Bill
