Is MSM only meant to be taken after HT? What is the best dosage? Tablets or powder? Wheres the best and cheapest place to purchase MSM in the UK? Bill - Seemiller Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 receding_rearguard, I'll answer a few of these questions for you. MSM can be taken at anytime and may help your natural hair and nails grow faster and more healthy. It does nothing to combat hair loss nor will it "jump start" early hair growth of the transplanted hair. Personally, I took tablets of MSM, 1500mg twice daily.
