I'm worried my coworkers will discover

something awry having pinholes all over my

head. It'll be 5 days post op that I return

to the office. Any Ideas for concealing my

altered regions? Creams? tanning solutions?

buy some Dermmatch and/or Toppik. They can work some concealing miracles. I highly recommend them.

i waited 10 days to go back, and I needed every bit of that time to get rid of the scabs and the redness. Or, if your work allows, wear a loose-fitting hat.

5 days post-op use a concealer like Toppik or Dermatch? Aren't there still scabs? I'm asking because I was wondering myself how many days to wait post-op before it was safe/hygienic to apply topical concealers.

I would not want to apply ANYTHING directly to the recipient area this soon.

The hat or extra time off seems the only options to me, unless you just say "%#@* it!" and go in with nothing.

If you wear a hat, make sure it is clean and does not sit on the recipient area itself....nor put extra stress on the donor region.

it was 10 days before I tried dermmatch/toppik. I still had a few scabs, but I'd say less than 10%.

At day 5, that was a good point to exercise caution. I'd say by day 5 your grafts have thoroughly adhered and your scabs will be dry and mostly holding on.

I personally think a light brush on would be okay. I'm no doctor though. Ask him for his opinion on this.
