Regular Member agentHarley Posted March 10, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted March 10, 2008 Guys: Just came back from a visit to Bernstein Medical, where I had one of the nicest techs there remove 1/2 of my 72 staples at day 10. In conversations, she told me that they do routine drills at the clinic to prepare for any situation that might arise while a patient is in a procedure. This includes terrorist attacks, fires, black outs, and other emergencies that are outside the parameters of the procedure in which they need to vacate the building while the operation is in progress. Isn't that cool? That they would drill/practice what to do? She wasn't trying to sell me on anything, I think I mentioned something about what would they do if a patient had a heart attack or something, and that was when she shared what she said. Anyway, I am deeeeeeeeeeply grateful to have researched Dr. Bernstein on these forums and to have been a "virgin-scalp" patient of his. I hear he does a lot of repair work and from reading articles in his waiting area, it is interesting how virgin scalps are different from previous HT scalps. Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted March 10, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 10, 2008 Ahhhh, staple removal....a beautiful, albeit mildly painful, experience! ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. No flash. Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician. Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death!
